About Metro Live
Metro Live is an independent, community-built project that shows live
Kochi Metro train positions using anonymous location sharing from
riders, alongside the published metro timetable.
Not affiliated with KMRL. Metro Live is not an
official Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) product and is not endorsed,
operated, or verified by KMRL.
Data sources
Schedule, station, and route data: Contains data provided by
Kochi Metro Rail Limited, published under KMRL's open data
initiative (GTFS-static). Live train positions on this map are
estimated from anonymous rider location-sharing and are not provided
or verified by KMRL.
Privacy & data use
When you choose to share your location, your device sends anonymous
position updates (no name, phone number, or account) to power the
live map for other riders. Updates are kept only for as long as
you're actively sharing and are automatically discarded shortly after
— typically within a minute of your last update. You can stop sharing
at any time using the "Stop" control on the map.
